Observation 105007: Dasyscyphus tenuissimus (Quel.) Dennis

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found in a bog along Clackamas River (milepost ~45), growing on rotting grass. (Some kind of large grass, almost a meter tall.)

Spores 6-9 × 1-1.5 microns. Spore arrangement (“biseriate”) eliminates D. virgineus. The match with the description of D. tenuissimus would be perfect, if it were not for the hairs whose swollen tips I didn’t find.
