Notes: HABITAT chaparral completely burned two years ago on steep south-facing slope at high elevation; SUBSTRATE dark siliceous rock outcrop; ASPECT open; NOTES medulla K- C- KC-, medulla turning red with Lugol’s followed by C, upper surface pale and pruinose to dark brown and epruinose, lower surface smooth to weakly concentric-wrinkled orange to mostly darker to black in places, single-lobed or at least single holdfast.
