Notes: HABITAT edge of oak forest on ridge at top of road cut high on north slope; SUBSTRATE Quercus chrysolepis trunk; ASPECT mostly open; NOTES cortex K+y, medulla K-, soredia under lobe tips causing them to reflex and/or fold lengthwise, forming extensive colonies, lobes very thin and convex, mostly epruinose to lightly pruinose, short mostly-dark cilia present common, underside white and corticate with abundant simple white rhizines.
