Notes: HABITAT shady oak fores high on north slopet; SUBSTRATE smooth granitic boulder by trail; ASPECT shaded; NOTES tan contiguous rimose-areolate crust with black effigurate mottling and very even color and texture, K-, paler and slightly raised rim around apothecia, 1-2 apothecia per areole, epihymenium greenish-brown turning brown in K, paraphyses with 4-5 cells swollen, spores 8 per ascus 25 × 15 µm, conidia 10-13 µm.
