Notes: HABITAT shady oak fores high on north slopet; SUBSTRATE smooth granitic boulder by trail; ASPECT shaded; NOTES grayish lumpy verruculose irregular areolate crust never thin even near margin, K-, apothecia filling areole with verrucose concolorous margin, epihymenium bluish green turning brown in K, paraphyses with 4-6 cells swollen, spores 8 per ascus 25-27 × 14-15, conidia 20-28 µm.
