Notes: HABITAT open oak-conifer forest at base of very steep rocky north slope; SUBSTRATE granitic boulder in talus; ASPECT mostly open; NOTES crust beige contiguous areoles darker in center of areoles smooth, K-, apothecia irregular many per areole flush with conspicuous pale rim, epihymenium green-brown turning brown in K, paraphyses 3-5 cells swollen, spores 8? per ascus ~20 × 15 µm, conidia ?.
