Observation 105174: Amanita sect. Amanita

When: 2012-08-12

Collection location: Hickory Run State Park, Pennsylvania, USA [Click for map]

Who: Dave W (Dave W)

Specimen available

The spore shapes for this collection do not match ret’s online description very well. The spores seen here appear to be subglobose to broadly elliptical. Otherwise, this collection looks a lot like S01.

Under spruce.

I’ve got three dried specimens ready to go.
