Notes: HABITAT shady oak-conifer forest on north slope; SUBSTRATE base of old Pseudotsuga macrocarpa; ASPECT shaded; NOTES granular dark gray-green crust, K- C-, dark red-brown biatorine apothecia, disk epruinose convex, rim thin or missing, epihymenium red-brown, hymenium hyaline and inspersed in places, hypothecium hyaline, exciple of radiating hyaline cells red-brown at margin; SPORES 8 per ascus, hyaline, simple, oblong-ellipsoid, smooth, ~10 × 5 µm.
