Notes: found on a dead branch. reminds me of the feel of ears. lol. I was wondering if this had any psychoactive compounds in it and i could eat this and trip? I doubt it but please tell me what you think

This is sometimes called Judas’ Ear. Judas hung himself on an elderberry tree, which this is known to grow on, among other things. Another common name for Auricularia is Tree Ear. No psychoactive compounds. But it is medicinal, and a common additive for Hot and Sour Soup (Asian). It also dried well for future use.
