Notes: Tiny tan polypores, numerous on some stumps at the edge of the woods. Species of tree unidentifiable. Polypore probably also not identifiable.

What is your basis for being certain that it’s not in Polyporaceae, Danny?

only exists as a name proposal here on the assumption that you examined a hymenium which you have not clearly demonstrated in photographs. Otherwise, I would call this Fungi or Undetermined, as there is little diagnostic information in the photographs beyond whitish things occurring on wood. Asserting its familial placement within the Polyporaceae seems ambitious in light of so few details.
