Growing amongst Coprinopsis scobicola (Obs – 105561) from the ground in a wood chip/Casuarina equisetifolia mixture, FAN6 claims this never grows from wood chips, but it can grow terrestrially and the other species don’t match well. This also matches my other P. schroeteri observation (104906) well.
Spores rounded triangular with an eccentric germ pore and no apical papilla.
Spore range = (13) 14 – 15 (16) x 11 – 13 (14) µ
Spore average = 14.95 × 12.45 µ
Q range = 1.15 – 1.36
Average Q = 1.2
4-spored basidia observed.
No setae on the pileus or stipe observed.
Caulocystidia not observed.
