Can you taste bitterness? About 20% of men don’t have the “bitter gene”.

This one is strange

There is something weird about the color palette in these photos. The pore surface and prominent reticulation both suggest this could be a subspecies of T. felleus. On the other hand, looking strictly at the stipe, I cannot exclude the possibility of this being Retiboletus ornatipes.
