According to Thomson, T.virens is only found on Fagus in Door county,

so it seems to be perfect match

Jim Bennett did not nail this species down yet but doesn’t think it’s Arthonia.

Here is microscopy:
Perithecia present; Multiple ostioles; Spores 13×5, dark brown, simple, 2 oil drops, ellipsoid to orange-slice-shape; Thallus UV+y; Algae Chroococcus or Trentepohlia.

This species is only on American Beech (Fagus grandifolia), as far as I could say.
