Growing on soil in a cliff over the sea.
The main differences to the one in observation 104382, which I believe to be Placidium lachneum, are:
Squamules less coloured, pale brown; pycnidia both laminal and marginal, less conspicous; an algal layer made of globose green cells; the form of perithecia are pyriform to globose, whereas in the former where only globose.
