Growing on a log near a river bank. Very small, less than the size of a dime across the largest cap. I’m guessing Galerina autumnalis, but I’m not sure at all.


This is an update of the previous photo (about two weeks later). Still don’t know the name of this. I’ve looked in Roody’s Mushrooms of West Virginia and the Central Appalachians, but can’t locate it.
