In the first picture showing a partial veil (second image), it looks as though there are two partial veils that were connected at their edges, but are coming apart. I would like other persons to look at that picture and tell me if they see this also or not.


There appears to be a distinct sterile margin on the cap…

projecting beyond the ends of the gills. This is not very common in species in sect. Lepidella. It suggests that you might have found A. marginata, which I have never seen except in the photograph that appeared in Dr. Jenkins’ original description of the species.
