Observation 106449: Boletus oliveisporus (Murrill) Murrill

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Growing from the base of a blueberry bush in sand, under pine. Cap pale brown to red brown tending dark red-brown. Pore layer bright yellow instantly staining dark blue-black. Stipe reddening up from base is streaked, not reticulated. Context, pores, and stipe turn instantly blue-green when cut, rapidly fading in bluish tan. No taste or odor noted.
