Observation 106570: Diplotomma venustum (Körber) Körber
When: 2012-08-14
Who: zaca
No herbarium specimen

Notes: I don’t know which name is the correct one for this specimen. It was observed close to the place of observation 91216. At the time I call it Diplotomma venustum due to the description of this species in CNALH and the photos in Stridvall. Now I realize that there is a species with similar characteristics called D. hedinii (see, for instance, AFL where the name D. hidinianum appears), which is not a synonym of the first in “Indexfungorum”, but is a synonym of D. venustum auct. brit. according to the British Flora.

Spores 3-septate with the following dimensions:
12.7 [14.8 ; 15.7] 17.8 × 5.8 [6.8 ; 7.2] 8.2 µm
Q = 1.8 [2.1 ; 2.3] 2.6 ; N = 34 ; C = 95
Me = 15.2 × 7 µm ; Qe = 2.2.
