Observation 106574: Hygrocybe conica group

When: 2012-08-23

Collection location: Blädinge, Alvesta, Kronoberg, Sweden [Click for map]

Who: Thea Chesney (thea)

No specimen available

These had stipes that were on the slimy side, and if I was in California, I would have considered calling this H. singeri. But for now, with limited resources and uncertain taxonomy, I’m content to label it as ‘conica group.’ Thoughts?

Sorry about the lousy photos – it was raining and I was trying to shield my camera from the elements.
again, crappy photo, this time taken inside
