Hadn’t seen this in CT since 2000 but now….

I’ve collected this three weeks in a row in three spots in CT, black birch and oak is the habitat….this is a big drama mushroom, big fancy-pants bright blue staining and all…the flesh is yellow for an instant, then blue, then fades to pale creamy color…anybody confirm that observation of stain reaction as well? It’s a cool one…
