HABITAT conifer forest; SUBSTRATE Quercus bark; ASPECT mostly open; NOTES small infertile specimen, on oak bark, lobulate but not sorediate or isidiate, no apothecia on fairly old specimen, cilia short and abundantly densely branched, rhizines longer and less branched, shiny, loopy axils, cortex K+y and KC-, medulla K+ pinkish-brown and C+ weakly orangish and KC+ fading to orangish.
