HABITAT dry hardwood forest on south-facing slopes of cove; SUBSTRATE Kalmia twig; ASPECT mostly open; NOTES small half-eaten specimen, on mountain laurel twig between TT and clearcut; THALLUS ciliate, many long rhizines, smallish lobes, ~lobulate; MEDULLA K-, C+ very slowly yellow-orange, K+ flashes red-violet immediately turning deep bright red fading to brick-red.
