Based on chemical features: Kuo lists Stropharia kaufmanii as having pinkish orange KOH reaction. This exhibits that. There is no data recorded for hardii, so it may do the same thing. Kaufmanii is a western species.

And whats up with the spores?

They basically have the shape of that huge metallic bean in Chicago. Look at the one dead middle. It was tough to capture that shape.
