usually has a stipe terminating in a bulb with a small root. I agree that this mushroom doesn’t have this feature. Other than that, it is reminiscent of B. innixus, in which the drab brown colors of the cap and stipe are contrasted by the brilliant yellow (sometimes, when fresh) pore surface.
