It looks like the stipe has a bulb at the bottom, but…

I can’t be sure of it. If there’s a bulb, then probably section Amanita. If there’s no bulb, then sect. Caesareae. If the latter, then I don’t think I’ve ever seen it before. If the former, I’m uncertain about whether I’ve seen it. With all the rain you folks have had, it might be something familiar, but with pigment washed out.

I’m puzzled.
