Observation 108777: Suillus collinitus (Fr.) Kuntze
When: 2012-08-03
Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: This is one of the rare cases that Suillus collinitus is associated with deciduous trees, right here with oaks. Usually its mycorrhizal host is strictly pine but seldom it can be found with other trees like here with oak. There are investigations about if there is any difference with this ecological race.
