Observation 1093: Coprinellus impatiens (Fr.) J.E. Lange
When: 2006-11-25
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Sprinkling in a few more unknown species into the weeks observations.

Here is another of the unknown comprinus (or what ever genus it should be in now). This time with a spore print.

These apeared singly widely distributed through the park, but not many.

12/31/2007 – moving this to Psathyrella.

3/23/2010 – Finally have the correct id for this one, and added a photo I found when going back and labeling things with the correct id.

Since you’re going back to this site keep an eye for young ones and see if it has any sort of veil material on the top and what it looks like. From the image you’ve given it looks like it might be similar to this <a href=“http://mushroomobserver.org/observer/show_observation/405%5C”">;
Coprinopsis.
