Mixed woods mostly birch and beech in immediate area. In a wet area near a stream near where I saw a fresher specimen last year. Three seperate mushrooms seen in 5 foot radius.

Dumb luck really, it was around this time last year when I found it last but I hadn’t taken a nice picture. I hadn’t I.D.‘d it yet and I really thought it was an interesting find so I didn’t really expect to see it once again this year.
