I went over the youngest fruiting body in the image at the highest magnification and found orange material outside of the area of glare. So I think has a good chance of being jacksonii. All the material from sect. Caesareae that you sent to me will be scheduled for sampling and sent Santiago Sanchez at Dr. Moncalvo’s laboratory.
has no orange-felted material on the stipe (apparently). So I don’t know about this being jacksonii. We seem to have a lot of such material this summer.
