meaningful info to put up a page for any of the spissa var. alba X that are out there. I’m pretty sure that I’ve gone over this before…but who knew that we’d have this topic come up a couple of times this year? I’ll send myself an email on the subject.

on another time I found it.

proposed by European or South American authors under the same name. Coker’s combination is not valid, but it is the only available name for the white species he described. The species is poorly known because there is no extent dried specimen of the type collection."

Amanita spissa var. alba, but it wont let me suggest the name. Bit of light green on the cap.
