No herbarium specimen

Notes: More of the brown capped one in the swampy area. Let it go for two days on the spore print this week, and got a slight brown one, maybe.

Hebeloma, good idea

Well, still not sure about these, but Hebeloma is a good idea. I looked around for images of hebeloma, there is stuff out there, mostly from Europe. This looks like the closest:


It turns out there are a number of veiled brown capped western hebeloma. I just ordered Alex Smith’s Veiled Hebeloma of Western US from Amazon, so I will get back to this when that comes in.
