Recognized by sight: This looks like taxa I have collected in SE Arizona that was apparently not associated with any ectomycorrhizal symbiont. At least one of the taxa I have seen from SE Arizona appears to be A. prairiicola; however, it seemed to me that I also had one or two additional taxa that were probably not described.

Please use any of my Amanita images you wish on your site. Shucks, I’d be quite honored.

Bob, may I use one or more of these photos on the web site?

It will ship with the others. For something non-mycorrhizal, take a look at my observation 107975. If that is in fact an Amanita it would be very interesting.

I’m very interested in reviewing the dried material of this collection.
