Observation 10967: Lactarius deceptivus Peck
When: 2008-08-30
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Thick-looking, white with down-curved margin and depressed, brownish center — two of them, glimpsed through thick brush in Acadian forest. Could be a Lactarius or a Clitocybe, Russula less likely, and other possibilities too.
