Notes: As is common with this type, the latex was virtually non-observable. I find this type with cap surface colored cinnamon brownish (like these) or grayish. Third photo shows more yellow than it should.

I used to call this type “Lactarius aquifluus.” Has the name applied to the eastern NA been settled?
