On ground on trail.

Spores are bean shaped.

Crepidotus phaseoliformis is the only Crepidotus species with phaseoliform (bean shaped) spores according to Hesler & Smith (1965). But it grows on wood, particularly birch. This was on the ground. Dont recall any birch within miles.
