Notes: Abundant on day of find. Growing in the soil in a bottomland wooded area.

Recognized by sight: The presence of an outer veil (on the cap surface) and the glabrous rather the fibrillose cap texture could point away from P. longipes. Seeing more of the stem and stature could help.
