To change a yellowish color. These were a bit different than the other ones Ive been seeing. A more stocky stature and a more turnip-like bulb.

See if by pressing the stipe with your thumb or gently rubbing the fibrils on the stipe they turn a color in the range yellow-orange to pale orange to pinkish orange. You need to experiment to get this to happen. You can’t be too rough. You don’t want to crush the fibrils (which is easy to do).
