Notes: Found fruiting directly off wood near a cypress dome, within the ecotone between an oak hammock and melaleuca stand. Slash pines and Sabal palms are also prevalent in the area.

greyish-beige color

deeply depressed center and a somewhat wavy margin
covered with dense, stiff brown hairs

Recognized by sight: darker stipe base is suspicious. lacking enough features to call it L. bertieri, but posessing enough to argue against L. crinitus.
