Observation 11074: Polyporales sensu lato

When: 2008-09-10

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

This guy is odd. Off-center stem and no apparent gills underneath. It was in poor condition, nibbled on by something and rather slimy. Possibility 1: gills got eaten away by something. Possibility 2: Cantharellaceae.
