Observation 111067: Lactarius psammicola A.H. Sm.

Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: Spotted stalked Milky. The milk burned bad enough to make a cayenne pepper blush and was extremely acid tasting (yes, I had to try it).
Milk was white and did not change color.
Note the inward-rolled hairy cap margin, orange color, and white latex droplets.
The flesh did not stain/bruise that I could tell, and it really does not smell bad, kind of fruity…but boy is it hot!
