It would be nice to see more loci such as the TEF1 included.

There are two clusters of N. American Hygrocybe reidii.

One may end up being the same as H. reidii sensu stricto. There is clearly a second, closely related N. American species. The species pictured clusters with the NA group that more closely aligns with the European species. Whether to call this H. reidii sensu auct. amer. or not depends on whether the closer cluster is truly an independent species. UNITE suggests it is. https://unite.ut.ee/...
