yes.
you can see the bluing on the base of the stipe.
this particular specimen was found on well decayed oak.
however, i find them regularly on newly fallen oak (1 time off an oak root w/ gravija).

Did you notice any bluing on this specimen? I read that they do not always stain blue at the base of the stipe, in fact it’s not really that common to see the bluing.

What was the habitat/wood you found this on? I have only found these a couple of times, I find them very interesting. Great observation Rich.
