Observation 11163: Cortinarius (Pers.) Gray

When: 2008-09-15

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

These LBMs were in sandy soil near mixed pine/birch woods, and right next to the Scleroderma of obs. 10990. There were many more of them scattered over an area of a few square feet.

The third photo shows the Scleroderma (still there) and some of the LBMs. The large one closest to the center is the one in the first two photos. There are a few more outside the area of the third photo. Probably a dozen or so total.
