Observation 11176: Pholiota (Fr.) P. Kumm.
When: 2008-09-15
No herbarium specimen

Notes: This group of small mushrooms was on pine wood near my Tricholomopsis rutilans (obs. 10997) log. They are similar colored from a distance, but a different species — no scales and a quite viscid cap (the full-size images show the differences clearly).

The small area near that log is quite mycodiverse. From the same area also came the mushrooms in obs. 11173, 11174, and 11175 (today) and obs. 10998 (Sept. 10, 2008), for a total of seven species of agaric, within an area of four square meters or so.
