Observation 112119: Gymnopilus picreus (Pers.) P. Karst.
When: 2012-09-30
No herbarium specimen

Notes: At first i thought maybe these small mushrooms (caps about 1-1.5 cm) were either Xeromphalina or Tricholomopsis. Spore print rusty orange. Found on a mossy log.

I’ll check some sources to see about G. picreus when I have some time later today or tomorrow.
