Pileus smooth, azonate, bright apricot orange

Context inside flesh lighter orange; soft; fibrous; roughly 1.5 cm thick at base
Pore Surface dark orange-red; dry
Pores 3-4 per mm; tiny; angular to circular
Tube layer(s) dark orange-red; tubes roughly 4-6 mm deep

Odor not distinctive
Spore Print White-slight orange

Microscopic Characteristics
In KOH- clear hyaline appearance
Basidiospores range: 5-7 × 2-4 µm; cylindrical or elliptical; smooth
