I left a few there awile back. Plenty of rain since then. Limbs on volva almost completely eroded.

Well documented (at least well-photographed) taxa of sect. Vaginatae are very much needed. In most of the world, this is still a group of mystery, numbered species, and repeated mistakes. It would be very nice to help sort this out before I punch out.

and will package soon. I’m waiting for this latest stuff to dry, and I’ll also visit the other site today where I had collected similar whitish Angels.

Rod, I think I remember you writing that you’d also like to receive material from section vaginatae…?

I would certainly like to look at some of these.

We’re planning to send out a batch of samples of white-capped Phalloideae to see what the DNA may tell us. We’ll hold on for a couple of weeks more in hopes of getting more interesting material.
