Observation 112473: Lentinus tigrinus f. secotioides

No herbarium specimen

Notes: 4.3cm cap diameter, tough flesh, interesting (gastroid?) variant with permanently veiled unformed gills that turn into yellow slime at maturity. Growing on a hardwood stump next to lake shore. No spore print- obviously!
