I’ve found this year. These late-season boletes generally are not infested with insects. As the weather turns colder, the boletes are found underneath the shelter of low-hanging conifers. I think we still have about two weeks of good bolete hunting here in NE PA.
I wasn’t lucky this season (yet) for one of those :) Looks great !
