Only one or two of the many specimens I’ve collected from southern California seem to have a published name(!) Trevor Goward recently looked them over. He’s given them all tentative herbarium names, but I’m hesitant to “publish” them here. They are all variations on P. ponojensis (the ones I’d called P. praetextata) and P. degenii. Apparently there is ongoing taxonomic work on this group.
